Having to get shot releasing to take in a lot of the times make or break a player. Some guys have releases that just feel like poetry in motion and others have you questioning why even had the shoe buddy in the first place. Today, we decided to list out the players who fully take advantage and turning the 2k guy.
Here’s our top 10 plays with the best shot releases in NBA 2K17:
Number 10 is buddy Hield. The recently crowned next Steph Curry at least with his quick trigger has the shot released. I mixed those claims at least 10 per century. It doesn’t get much help from his ratings inside the earth leaves the below average shooter despite having no height and most importantly clothes on display shots even further. He averages an 83% open 3 and coupled with his brawn picker old maestro back at 79 off the dribble three-point range.
Number nine on the list is CJ Miles. Miles besides having a shot at least that’s very easy to tell when he’s reached at that point. He’s also on the list shooter in 2k and which is 89 open at 82 off the dribble three-point range. Which are 80 bottom having three hot dogs from three-point range and two of them being from the corners which are supported by a silver corner specialization badge. And he also has a silver mid-range data back for good measure. Despite having below average shooting stats, he’s also one of the few players on the list whose release time is the normal but it’s just so smooth. He has so much boost to his already good shot ratings it doesn’t even matter.
At number 8 is Troy Daniels. He’s release is the slowest on the list, but yes, it is deadly because of how easy it is to spot the rhythm of its release. Just after a few shots you’ll realize he lunges forward after the shot so you just time everything up off of it. Not to mention daniel has 80 open mid in and 88 open three. Which could be boosted up by his goal corner specialist badge and four counting for hot zones from three-point land makes a 74 overall.
Number seven on a top ten list is Marco Belinelli. Belinelli is one of those push-ups that just feels effortless when you shoot it. He has an 80 open mid, 86 open three to make them a deadly sniper in 2k17.
Coming in number six on the list is his teammate Kemba Walker. Kemba almost feels like you release it on the way up. And the ball is above and it was easy to locate and timed it properly for the perfect shot. Added on this is an 87 open three, a corner specialist and a silver catch and shoot badge. Making him a great off the ball target. As well finish it off with an 81 off the dribble 3, 35-percent three-point shooting at forty-one percent from the field play to be a dominant jump shooter.
The number five players is Anthony Mar. Mar three point shooting may have fallen off a cliff. I mean he just got traded because of it. But it’s released surely has it’s very much the same smooth jumper. He has a career forty percent three point shooter and still a feared player whenever he’s open in 2k.
Number four is your favorite players‘ favorite player James Jones. Jones is a super spot-up shooter that if you dribble even once before shooting, you’re not able to fully capitalize off this quick release. Because his off the dribble rates are so shitty you’re guaranteed them in. But when he’s on the floor you must know where he is. He’s a gold corner specialist, but one of his hot zones is from the corner so that’s what you want to park in front to be nearly automatic.
Number three on the list is Nick Young. Swaggy P is one of the fastest releases on the list coupled with a very simple to notice release point in the shot. So it’s easy to get green a lot of the time while being able to get a shot up in essence. And being he’s probably the second best overall shooter on the list with 3, 3.5 mades and still being from the corner. Nick Young is a straight up cheat on 2k17.
At number two is JR smith Jr. He has been a 2k legend as far back as I can remember. While his dunking ability has faded, the other part made him so deadly. His jumper has only gotten better leading to a 2k17 rating having a mid-80s open three-point rating, a gold corner specialist deep-range badge and limitless range badge and also a silver catch-and-shoot badge while being child for the second most hot dogs from three-point land.
Number one player with the best shot release is Klay Thompson. I mean what’s not to love about Klay Thompson release? His elbow is at a 90 degree angle which allows the ball to not be in that first like on a lot of releases which obviously helps in common his set point properly. And the to top it all, Klays kind of good at shooting that basketball. I mean look he has the gold-catch and shoot badget, gold deep range dead eye, gold limitless range, bronze corner specialist and bronze mid-range. So basically when he’s open, you considered it a point on your team automatically.
